We absolutely loved our stay at The David Lodge and Inn. The place was spotless — you can tell the owners take great pride in keeping everything clean and well cared for. The rooms were cozy, warm, and inviting, with just the right mix of rustic charm and comfort. The bed was super comfortable, and every little detail made it feel like a home away from home. The keurig for our morning coffee was an added bonus! We will definitely stay here from now on when visiting family in Red Wing!
We booked 2 rooms for a visiting family that travels a ton and they love the change of pace from your cookie cutter hotel chains. The rustic decor and the woodsy setting make it a very relaxing place to stay.
Very rustic feel in the room. Nicely decorated. I'm disabled, and the bed was too high for me. But Blessing took care to give me equipment that eased my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room even had a scent diffuser to make it smell fresh. Little touches in this charming hotel made all the difference. I highly recommend this motel.
Me and my family are homeless at the moment and the young lady Blessing is the most amazing person and so helpful. She helped my family so tremendously over the last 2 months and me and my family couldnt be more grateful for her and the David's lodge. Its so cozy and the environment is excellent and the rooms are beautiful.

I'm currently on a coast-to-coast trek that began from Seattle nearly 3 months ago. Once a week or so I forego my tent for a small motel to get a shower, bed, laundry and meal. In 1700 miles of walking so far, no one has made me feel as welcome as The David Motel Lodge. Blessing and (?) are exceptional hosts and my room was clean, comfortable and exactly what I wanted. I can't recommend them enough.
Stayed 3 nights for a work trip participating in an AKC Scent Work trial. They were dog friendly, affordable and close the the fairgrounds where the trial was held. My room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed including a fridge and freezer, toaster oven, microwave and coffee maker. I enjoyed relaxing outside at night after the trials with my dog. There was a fireplace, grill and wooded walking trails behind the motel. Quiet and peaceful. We will definitely return if we are out this way again.
